"Effective next month we will be on an indefinite hiatus. Andrew has spent the past year dealing with health complications centered around his foot that will result in him undergoing an intense medical procedure that will put him out of commission for the next 12+ months.
Andrew and myself (Mike) established this band out of years of back and forth and sitting on the songs. When we finally teamed up with Pete and Jacob to record our first release in the winter of 2017 we were awed by the response and support of our peers. Rather than stop completely, or find a stand in, we feel it is best to put things on hold for now.
With that being said, we will be releasing our new EP 'Lay a Pox Upon Their Bloodline' for digital download and streaming, with the support of Thomas from Redefining Darkness Records.
We will be playing Strummer's May 29th w/ Exmortus & Cultural Warfare. This will be our last show for the time being.
Thanks to every single person who has booked us, wrote a review, put out our music, came to a show, bought a shirt, we are forever grateful.
Special thanks to: Thomas Haywood, James Rauh, Skullcrush, Evulse, Phalanx (LA).
Please support Pete & Jacob's other bands: AMENTHES & Elder Devil
Until next time.

Unfortunately, this is a prime example of an album with a strong opener and a weak rest of the album. The production is excellent; the instruments are half decent; the vocals are okay, but the lyrics are downright cringey. Heads for the Dead has no right to be as popular as they are within the metal underground, to be frank. Camel
